American Idol

So last night on one of the worlds greatest shows American Idol the top five took on to what i thought was one of the most challenging challenge of them all the songs of the frank Sanatra. Though he couldn't be there they did have another amazing artist to help out, Harry Connick jr.

Aaron Kelly was the first to perform one of Franks songs. Aaron sung Fly me to the moon, I thought he did a wonderful job at it he hit the notes beautifully, and i know that some people think that he is to old for his age but he is in a competition with grown people he has to be mature and be focused on the prize. Randy and Ellen thought that he was wonderful, Kara thought it was OK but he need more swagger to fill up the stage like Frank did ( um hello he's suppose to make the song his own and not imitate the actual artist ), and Simon thought it was just boring and dual. Next was Casey James with blue skies, that was just horrible, I mean it had no feeling in it at what so ever he even said it himself " I was not feeling it ". Randy thought it was just plain out horrid, Ellen thought the song was to much for him to Handel Kara thought he sounded like a lamb, and Simon thought it was bloody hell. The night got better when Crystal Bowersax took the stage with Summer Wind. What can say Crystal is one of the best in the competition. Randy thought it was tiring Ellen thought it was a different side to her Simon thought it was to jazzy which i do not agree with and Kara thought it was brilliant. Then the heavens broke loose when Big Mike took the stage with The way you look tonight. In my opinion Big Mike tor the stage up he was he is the best and i think that Big Mike is going to take the gold this year. Randy praised Mike and said that's the feeling you need to win this Ellen agreed with randy, Kara thought it was just beautiful and Simon said mike is back. then the last performance of the night was Lee singing that's the life. Out of all of the contestants in the competition lee is the only one i feel really makes all the songs that he sings his own. Randy said lee staid true to himself Ellen said that if tonight was the competition he would of had won Simon said he gave it his all and brought it and Kara said that Lee should start believing that he could win this thing.
